* Four Operation Theatre Lighting Systems valued at LKR 10 Million, enabling the simultaneous functioning of four fully equipped operating theatre beds.
* An Industrial Washer and Dryer System valued at LKR 3.5 Million, ensuring 24-hour washing and drying of theatre linen.
The official opening ceremony of the newly renovated operation theatre system was graced by Dr. Nalinda Jayathissa – Minister of Health and Mass Media, Professor Chrishantha Abeysena – Minister of Science and Technology, along with a team of doctors representing the Prophet Jerome Fernando Ministries Charity Foundation. This marks a meaningful step forward in strengthening healthcare infrastructure and improving patient care.

MEDICAL AND HEALTHCARE SECTOR SUPPORT
When an economic and political crisis struck our nation, monetarily paralyzing its citizens, threatening their very livelihood, and twisting their daily existence to such an extent, the medical sector virtually spiraled from a lack of medication to no medical care for patients in national hospitals or even seeking medical attention.
The medical and healthcare sector’s challenges have been exacerbated by this downturn, with hospitals and clinics struggling to stay afloat in the face of declining revenues, rising costs and ceased medical imports

The uncertainty and instability in providing adequate support have left the medical and healthcare sector frustrated and helpless as they struggle to furnish the best possible care under such difficult conditions. With our commitment to assisting those in need, the PJFM Charity Foundation became a beacon of aid and impact in this area.
Our efforts have resulted in numerous contributions and donations to hospitals, clinics, and medical facilities across the country, assisting in the alleviation of critical shortages of essential medical supplies and equipment.
At the request of Negombo District General Hospital, the Prophet Jerome Fernando Ministry Charity Foundation (PJFM) has generously donated an industrial-grade washer and dryer valued at Rs. 3.5 million, to ease the daily burden of washing linen in the operation theatre complex.
The addition of these appliances to the theatre laundry room will greatly improve operational efficiency and contribute to a more cost-effective and seamless functioning of the operation theatre.
Earlier this year, we also donated Rs. 10 million worth of four advanced operation theatre light systems to the Negombo District General Hospital, contributing to the recommencement of the renovated operation theatre complex, improving the hospital infrastructure and thereby better patient outcome.
Together, these initiatives reflect our unwavering commitment to strengthening the nation’s healthcare system and improving lives across Sri Lanka. ????????
